What I wore today - Friday 25 July

The period of good weather finally ended on Wednesday with a light drizzle. On Thursday it set in. And on Friday it absolutely threw it down.

Perfect weather for me to pull on my new gummies!

Here's the outfit, Jeans West Grey skinny jeans, white Supre long sleeved top, Stellino grey knit top, Handmade crocheted belt made by my talented Mum. Raw Mother of Pearl necklace from the parentals. Wooden spoon from the second drawer down, amidst porridge making.

Hair GHDed in an Alex wave. Eyes feature MAC corner lashes.

Of course, the new RHS Hunter Wellingtons are the main feature of this outfit. I got plenty of admiring looks on the train, followed by plenty of chat and questions at work before I changed into a pair of heels. I wore them out that evening to drinks and dinner with Erin, and they actually stopped three male tourists who proceeded to gush over how fabulous they were. The Frenchman suggested the pattern needed a little snail weaving its way around each boot, as he waved his lit cigarette precariously close to my rubber wellingtons.

I'd call that a success, wouldn't you?

Definitely a success, to get unsolicited compliments from strangers on the street! They look very fab.
